musings of a hopefilled soul

I have been a registered nurse for a “long time”.  For the last 12 years of my nursing career I have been working for a Hospice taking care of dying patients and their families.  While I did not find this work  stressful as many might assume, I have felt the need to pursue other interests at this time in my life. So….I resigned my nursing position  in January and  am currently spending some time blogging ,hoping to be a source of encouragement to those who stop at this site.  I am a novice poet and writer with a deep faith in God.  I feel I can offer hope to those who are dying, grieving , and facing many other difficult places in life. This blog is a new endeavor but the credentials I have received from life are not.  It will be educational , humorous at times, and hopefully always inspiring. God Bless!
